Astrology comes from the word” aster “meaning light. Astrology is as old as measured time. The word Astrology is derived from two Greek words, Astra, a star, and Logos, logic or reason. It literally implies the doctrine and law as shown by the stars or planets.  Astrology is the Divine science, which deals with the apparent position of planets and stars at the time of the birth of the person, which  is called as ‘Natal chart’. It is the study of heavenly bodies and their relative position and their transit. The effect of the Luminaries Sun and Moon, the Planets on the living beings, regular seasonal climatic conditions, relation of these to the human life are all causes for the innovation of this science, The behavior, habits, character, events occur in the life of the person, events happen at a different times, education, health,  wealth, career or profession  are not same even for the twins born with 2-4 minutes gap. The person is born carrying the good or bad karmas of the past birth. Our Janma Kundali or Native chart is the Balance sheet of Assets and Liabilities of past life. We have to suffer what we did in the past. There is no escape. But by doing good karmas, by performing poojas, homas, and by giving charities or donations, we can reduce our karmas.

As per Karma theory of Adi Sankaracharya, Karma in the sense of results of actions performed is divided into three categories:

1.Sanchita karma, which is the accumulation of the results of actions performed in the past birth,

2.Prarbdha karma is those results of actions which have given rise to the present and body and portion of Sanchita karma taken for the present birth and,

3.Agami karma is the results of the actions performed in the present birth. By attaining self-knowledge, we can destroy the Sanchita and Agami karmas, but Prarbdha karma is not destroyed on the attainment of self-knowledge, but has to be exhausted only by being actually experienced. The person, who meditates with pure and peaceful mind, enlightening himself by burning his sins of past and present, will reach God

There should be belief or trust about this science of knowledge. Some persons argue that there is no God and Astrology or Jyothish is only trash.  We should not force anybody to believe it. It depends on one’s personality and feelings. Jyothisha is the branch of Vedanga and comes through Vedas. If we read the Epics like Ramayana, Mahabharatha, and Bhagavadgitha, we believe  that there is Super power or Sakthi,  which throws light, shows the path and way and guides us to reach our goals with inner knowledge.

Our endeavour is understanding the ancient knowledge of the Astrology given by our Maharshis, applying those principles in modern times and try to solve the problems of the persons, who approach us, and who are suffering, by giving appropriate simple remedies to the problems of the person.
